I think a good end of term reward could be….

Going to the park and playing animal survival
Because it is a fun game and it would be cool to teach it to the year 7’s
I also reckon that it is good for fitness because you run around the forest and climb up trees and it is really fun, the only thing wrong with doing it at the park is there are a lot of thorns and you could get cut by them that's what happened to me and my friends last year, It is also a lot of fun how you can run around in the grass and hide really easy because the forest is really sheltered. Last year me and my friend Kira Southee we hid in a tree and because we were rabbits nobody ever knew we were there, even the cats passed by and did not see us. It is also so funny if you slip down the hill and is so funny with good friends, me and Kira had a lot of lives taken but we did not die. I also think that we should have longer time in the forest because it would be more fun and I think we should have more room for boundaries.

My trip up hemi matenga

On Tuesday we had to go up Hemi Matenga for a training trek so that we woul get used to the  feeling of walking a long way up a mountain I found it really exhausting and ended up giving my back back to Drew my friend.
In my group was Maddy, Caitlin, Raquel, Drew and me our leader was Debby Ludlum Drew's mother ( very funny person by the way).

We had to do the full track all the way to the top, it was fun and tiring but having my friends there to talk to it was even more fun.
The view at the top was nothing but cloud and cold but when we got out of the mountain all there was, was sunshine which was much better. Me and Drew were always ahead so we had to stop a lot, going down was a lot more fun as it seemed much more faster.
When we got to the top to eat lunch Mr Whiteman and his group had picked some supplejack from the bush so we ate some of that.( It tasted like beans)

Doing the Hemi Matenga walk was lots of fun and I can not wait until we go to Camp and climb Mt Kahikatea.

This Hemi Matenga walk was to prepare us for Mt Kahikatea which is going to be a-lot harder but I am excited.
I am hoping that I will be fit enough to conquer Mt Kahikatea at Curious Cove

The book I would take to a deserted island is....

The book I would take to a deserted island is….
First I want to say that hopefully I will never be in the situation of being marooned on an island with my favourite book, but if i was, this is the book and reason why i would take this book to this deserted island.

The book I would take would be Harry potter and the order of the phoenix. The reason why i would take this book is mainly because it is so big and interesting by the time you have finished all of the book you completely forget the start and so you can read it over and over again and never get bored.
I also found that this book has taken me so long to read i would never feel tired and probably be able to eat the book if i started to starve.

I love this book so much i found that it was one of the best books of harry potter series by J.K Rowling and found that even though it is much bigger than all of the other series of books it is so interesting to read.

I love how descriptive it is and i am very fascinated of the magical world and the interesting characters J.K Rowling adds to her books. I also love to picture the visuals of the book in my head when i go to sleep and that usually makes me fall asleep.

And is the reason why i would bring Harry potter and the order of the phoenix to a deserted island.

                            Mrs Nutting

Magnificent
Radius
Sweet

Nice
Unique
Talented
Tough
Imaginative
Nurturing
Giving

Mrs Nutting was a wonderful librarian and  think that we will never have a librarian as respectful, funny and brilliant as Mrs Nutting.

This blog is a story and article of Mrs Nutting’s remembrance.
One of the things Mrs Nutting always let me do was
Take any book I needed or really wanted to read.
Even the books on the new book display that were not aloud to be taken. That is definitely one of the things that was unique about her and no other librarian is most likely to let me take the books from the brand new book display.

She always new what book was perfect for me and what book would make me giggle. She recommended the land of stories by Chris Colfer to me. I then loved the book and went on to read the rest I had read up to book four and the fifth book had just been out and was on the new book stand. Mrs Nutting realised I really needed and wanted to read it so she let me borrow the book and said I had to have it back as quick as sticks.

Mrs Nutting also lived not to far away from me and i would always see here on her mourning runs down the street. She was the one librarian to make you smile, Giggle and laugh.

Mrs Nutting is sadly missed by all of us and will be remembered deeply in the hearts of the Kapanui School pupils.
